Tait Berge
Writer, Theologian, Ministry Advocate
Tait is a ministry advocate representing Mephibosheth Ministry, a ministry that encourages the church to fully include people who have disabilities participate in the faith community. He holds an Associate of Arts degree in journalism (1998), a Bachelor in Leadership and Ethics (2009), and is starting a master’s in theology at Asbury Seminary in the fall, 2021. He has written four books and his articles has appeared in publications worldwide.
New Book: ‘My Name is Tait’
My Name is Tait is an honest look at the issues people with disabilities face as they enter adulthood and navigate the world that wasn’t designed for disability. You’ll have a front row seat as Tait shares his thoughts on disability, family, education, work experience and much more. Even though it is written to young adults who are dealing with a disability, doctors, social workers and even government officials could benefit from this book as they discover more about disability and the daily struggles it brings. You will laugh a lot, cry a little and learn some lessons about how to live with a disability!
